Cross-country running
Our Tuatara runners not only had to run three gruelling laps of the track but also had to dodge the raindrops whilst doing so! Well done to all our runners - there were lots of personal targets achieved and it was a wonderfully supportive atmosphere with everyone getting cheered across the finishing line.

Brilliant Friendly Giants
Did you know that this year marks the centenary of Roald Dahl's birth? We have been enjoying his book The BFG, learning about friendship, bullying, dreams and hopes along the way. Tuatara Class even had a special trip to the local cinema to watch the new BFG movie.
Have a look at some of the work we have been doing.
Keeping our fingers on the pulse....
Tuatara Class visited the College Science Department to learn about Pulses, the theme of this year's College Science Week. We discovered the nutritional benefits of pulses such as lentils and chickpeas. We donned safety goggles to mix chemicals to produce magical solutions that pulsated from black to gold to clear and back again. We even created a pulse engine, which vibrated when ignited! We just love science!
