Not science weak!

Congratulations to all members of Korora Class for completing the daily science teasers during science week. With impressively high scores, our champions were Annabel (Year 5); Emily, Charlotte and Josh (Year 4). Well done!

Our super scientists!

Filling and Spilling

In maths, our focus has been on capacity. We have been estimating what 100 ml looks like; how much liquid is in a variety of unmarked containers; and solving all sorts of measuring problems.

What's the big attraction?

Year 4 scientists have been discovering which materials are magnetic. We discovered that not all metals stick to magnets.

Day of Light

Korora Class had an amazing day at the College, exploring and investigating light - from chemiluminescence to interactive topographical maps; followed by making water flow backwards and moving images with strobe lighting. Thank you to Miss Fisher, Mr Muller, Mr Jones and the Y13 science team!
